Set Up Configurations on your Control Panel

This document is a tutorial on how to set up a new Configuration for your Application.

Preparing to execute instructions

Before starting the first step, make sure you have:

  • Access to the Control Panel;
  • Enable the Pixel Streaming plugin Enable the Pixel Streaming plugin
  • Package your app Package your Project from Unreal Engine
  • Have at least one uploaded application on your Control Panel Upload your Unreal Engine Application
  • At least one uploaded application Upload your Unreal Engine Application

    • To complete this guide, your working environment must meet all the requirements above. If you have not completed any of the points, follow the link to the appropriate instruction and complete it first.

    Instructions

    Config Selection

    A Config stores multiple streaming settings/features on the Control Panel.

    Select a Config from the drop down menu.

    Add/Delete/Edit/Broadcast Configs on Step2: Config Selection from your Control panel.

    Step 1. Create Config

    You don't have to create a new config for every new
    application. If you already have a Config that suits your new application just select it.

    1. Add Config

    Go to Control Panel → STEP2: Config Selection → Add button

    2. Enter the name of the new Config

    Enter your Config name in the box.

    Please note, no spaces are allowed in the Config name.

    Error message: ´Config does not exist. Contact Developer!

    If invalid characters are entered in the name of the Config, an error will occur when you Play your App (image 4).

    Delete that Config (image 5) and Create a new one with valid characters.

    Step 2. Edit Config

    Step 3. Save Config

    After editing your Configs, save the changes.

    Step 4. Click Broadcast (Optional)

    Share the config settings for all running Applications (open Tabs) by clicking ´Broadcast´.

    The Broadcast feature only works when the stream has already started (i.e. when the page is loading and the Application is running).

    It does not work when the Application is in Queue!

    Step 5. Close the Config settings

    Click on the Exit button or anywhere out of the page.

    You are now ready to Play your App, follow this tutorial .
