AFK Warn Timeout (Minutes)
Use and functionality of the feature AFK warn Timeout (Minutes) in the Old Control Panel.
Displays a warning message with a count down when the time you have set for the warn Timeout (minutes) feature on your Config from your Control Panel has reached the end.
Prerequisites
For this document, you need :
Access to the Control Panel ;
Instructions
Step 1. Sign in to the Control Panel
Login to the Old Control Panel.
Step 2. Select your App
Select your App from the drop down menu in ‘'Step 1 : Select an App’' from the Control Panel.
Refer to this document if you need to Add an App to your Control Panel.
Step 3. Select/Create your Config
Select your Config from ‘'Step 2 : Create a Config’' in the Control Panel.
Refer to this document if you need to create a new Config.
Step 4. Go to the 'Session’ Tab
Go to: Control Panel > Step 2: Create a Config > Edit > Session
Step 5. Check the box of IsAFK Enabled
If the Feature ‘IsAFK Enabled' is not selected, then the ‘Warn Timeout’ and 'Close Timeout’ will NOT be applied later on the user session.
Step 6. Set an AFK Warn Timeout (Minutes)
Go to : ‘AFK warn Timeout (minutes)’.
Enter the time after which you will get a warning message in the text field (In this example, we chose 5 minutes).
Click save.
Step 7. Test the Feature
1. Run the game
Go to: Control Panel > Step 3: Generate URLs > Play App.
2. Do not use your mouse and/or keyboard
Don’t perform any action on your App. Don’t click on anything for 5 minutes (i.e. time we set as an example of the AFK warn Timeout (minutes)).
3. An AFK warning gets displayed on the screen
This screen displays a warning message with a count down when the time you have set for the warn Timeout (minutes) feature on your Config from your Control Panel has reached the end.
4. Click 'Continue Streaming' to go back to the session
You can restore your session by clicking on ‘Continue Streaming’ before the count down timer ends.
Note: AFK warn Timeout is applicable even when the Tab is minimized.
This Feature is useful for users on the Pay Per Minute plan. (i.e. to reduce Streaming time and save usage) (Select the PPM plan from here).
