Select region

Select region decides which Eagle 3D Streaming machines may stream your app to a viewer. The default, Global, uses the nearest free machine anywhere — what every configuration does unless you change it. United States uses only machines in the USA, even for viewers elsewhere.

The two choices

The choice only narrows which machines are allowed. A narrower choice can mean a longer wait when those machines are busy.

Change it

  1. Open your app's configuration in the Control Panel.
  2. Turn on Advanced Options.
  3. Open the Developer tab and find Select Region.
  4. Choose Global or United States and save.

The change applies to the next viewer who opens the stream; sessions already running are not moved. To see which region served a session, press Info on the stream's settings bar.
